Made in the USA, Responder Wash Activated Charcoal Shampoo + Body Wash is designed to draw out harmful contaminants, toxins, and other impurities from the skin and hair. Formulated with activated charcoal, it washes away lingering odor for a detoxifying clean regular soap and shampoo cannot provide.
To give charcoal superpowers, you “activate” it, typically steaming it at high temperatures. This opens the carbon structure and eliminates substances harmful to humans. What remains is exceptionally porous, riddled with tunnels and nooks that act like magnets to grab dirt, oil, and toxins. One tablespoon of activated charcoal powder is estimated to have a larger surface area than a football field.
Activated charcoal has been used in personal care products for some time and has no known side effects. Since it can soak up 150 to 200 times its weight in impurities it works very well in body wash and shampoo to eradicate dirt, toxins, and odors from the skin and hair naturally.
