Z Hook Tool Mounting Kit (Includes Z Hook Tool)
Store your Z Hook Tools safely with Ziamatic’s new SURE-GRIP Z Hook Tool Mounting Kits. These new mounting kits provide firefighters with a Z Hook Tool and the bracket and mount they can use to store it safely. Choose from our different models that mount two different lengths of Z Hook Tools with D handles. The options include a 6-foot Z Hook Tool with a left or right mounting solution or an 8-foot Z Hook Tool with left or right mounting solutions. The mounting solutions utilize Ziamatic’s SURE-GRIP Hook Tool Mounting Brackets to safely store Ziamatic’s Z hook tools and many other NY hook style tools. They were designed using stainless steel to complement all truck body styles and looks while maintaining a strong attractive finish. The mounting kit also includes the SURE-GRIP tool mount (model SG-VM-1) which provides one of the strongest ways to retain tools with a quick and simple release and retrieval process. The rubber pads on both the strap and on the body of the SURE-GRIP bracket are proven to eliminate vertical movement when the vehicle is in transit virtually. The mounting solutions fit all-length hook poles by adjusting the distance between the top bracket and the SURE-GRIP bracket. A left and right option is available to satisfy almost all mounting application needs. 6 foot Roof Hook, NY Style (Marrying Slot) with Pry End By patterning after traditional fire tools, studying popular modifications, and using feedback from seasoned Firefighters, we have taken the NY-style Roof-Hook to a new level. The 6ft. Roof-Hook has many standard design elements, which include: ~ Drop-forged high-carbon steel hook-head and chisel-end. ~ 1 inch diameter DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tubing for strength and reduced weight. ~ No rubber or foam grips, so it can be used out of the box as is or customized by the end user/firefighter. Major improvements include: ~ A slot forged into the lower hook, to allow the forks of a traditional Halligan to be married. ~ The end of the upper hook comes to a point so that it can be used to break tempered window-glass/auto-glass or pierce roof decking to add safety and foot support during roof work. ~ The chisel end and 1” diameter tubing will slide inside the rung of a standard fire ladder, allowing for additional safety and support while during roof work, or allow gear/equipment to be hung off the side of a ladder to keep it safe and off the ground. ~Made in the USA!

Call for Quote-Minimum Order 6 The Rhino Tool is a traditional Wildland firefighting tool developed by USFS Wildland Hotshots. They would cut apart a forest fire shovel and fabricate it into a large earth moving hoe. This would include cutting off the lower end of the spade, separating the spade from the steel shank/neck and welding it back together at a 90 deg. angle. Our version of this tool is produced similarly to the NFES Fire shovel, forged as one-piece, into the shape of a hoe, with no welds. This process replaces the need to fabricate/weld, and makes for a more durable tool. This Rhino Tool comes with a curved primary edge for scraping the ground or digging, and two straight secondary edges used to cut through vegetation, or root systems. It is available with two different handle lengths, which include the traditional shovel handle 38”, and a longer 48” version. The overall lengths are approximately 45” & 53” respectively.
